Company Overview:  Himax Technologies, Inc. is a fabless semiconductor solution provider. The Company is engaged in display driver integrated circuits (IC) and timing controllers used in televisions, laptops, monitors, mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, car navigation, and other consumer electronics devices.

As per our previous report published on HIMX on 08th September 2022, Kalkine provided a ‘Buy’ stance on the stock at USD 5.45 based on ‘correction in stock price, latest quarter results, the key risks associated with businesses and upside indicated based on Valuation done, and the stock price has now moved by ~31.38% since then and the price has crossed both the Resistance 1 and Resistance 2.

Considering the long-term SMA resistance, target level attainment, current trading levels, risks associated, and volatile market conditions on the back of rising interest rates, a ‘Sell’ rating is assigned to the “HIMX” at the closing market price of USD 7.16 (as of 23 November).
