Inflection Resources Ltd. (CSE: AUCU) has released an exploration update covering two Australian projects, reporting the completion of 92 air core drill holes at the Trangie Project in New South Wales and the completion of a gravity survey at its 100%-owned Endurance Project in the Northern Territory. The Trangie program, advanced under an Exploration Agreement with AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited, has now covered 16,434 metres of drilling, with six holes remaining. Investors may be watching for pending assay results, which the company states will guide prioritisation of deeper diamond drill targets across both projects.
Key Points
- Inflection Resources Ltd. (CSE: AUCU | OTCQB: AUCUF | FSE: 5VJ)
- 92 air core holes totalling 16,434 metres completed at Trangie; six holes remain in the program
- 474 new gravity measurements completed at Endurance; a 32 line-kilometre IP-MT survey co-funded by an AUD$80,000 Northern Territory Government grant is underway
- Laboratory assay results and integrated geophysical data will be used to prioritise diamond drill targets at both projects
Trangie Drilling Encounters Favourable Alteration and Gold-Copper Indicators
The expanded air core program at Trangie was drilled on an offset grid with nominal 250-metre spacing, targeting the prospective Ordovician basement beneath younger sedimentary cover. Multiple holes intersected quartz-veined volcanic rocks with higher-temperature biotite alteration, skarn-like mineralogy, and variably altered monzodiorite intrusions. Disseminated pyrite accompanied by chalcopyrite and native copper was locally observed. The program was designed to sample the upper basement and map geological, geochemical, and alteration patterns across a broader target area surrounding previously reported intervals, including 54.37 metres grading 0.37 g/t gold and a separate interval of 3.0 metres grading 7.72 g/t gold.
Assay Results to Shape Diamond Drilling Strategy at Trangie
Once laboratory results are received, Inflection and AngloGold Ashanti plan to integrate multi-element geochemical data with logged alteration assemblages to map broader footprints characteristic of porphyry copper-gold systems. The company states results will be used to refine the locations and orientations of deeper diamond drill holes. Shortwave infrared analysis of coarse drill rejects will provide additional detail on hydrothermal alteration minerals, which the company describes as a key factor in vectoring toward porphyry copper-gold mineralisation. The Trangie Project sits within the interpreted northern extension of the Macquarie Arc, described as Australia's premier porphyry copper-gold province.
Endurance Gravity Survey Completed; IP-MT Program Commences on Bigeye and Barreleye Targets
At the 100%-owned Endurance Project in the East Tennant region of the Northern Territory, Inflection completed 474 new gravity measurements over the Bigeye and Barreleye aeromagnetic anomalies using a Scintrex CG-5 gravimeter. A 32 line-kilometre IP-MT survey is now underway, co-funded by an AUD$80,000 grant under the Northern Territory Government's Geophysics and Drilling Collaborations Program. The company states that combining induced polarisation, magnetotelluric, gravity, aeromagnetic, and airborne electromagnetic datasets is intended to build a three-dimensional model of the targets, which are considered prospective for concealed iron oxide copper-gold-style mineralisation systems.
