Tower Resources Ltd. (TSXV: TWR) has released assay results from the final three holes of its June diamond drilling program at the Rabbit North property near Kamloops, British Columbia. Hole 081 returned five significant gold intersections at the Thunder North Zone, including high-grade intervals of 26.1 g/t Au over 1.2 m and 6.10 g/t Au over 4.1 m. Holes 079 and 080 intersected a newly identified Cu-Au breccia pipe, bringing the total number of such pipes discovered within a 1 km² area to four — a result the company says may point to a significant porphyry Cu-Au deposit at depth.
Key Points
- Tower Resources Ltd. (TSXV: TWR) is a Vancouver-based mineral exploration company focused on the Rabbit North orogenic gold and porphyry copper-gold project in British Columbia's Kamloops mining district.
- Hole 081 at Thunder North returned five gold intersections including 26.1 g/t Au over 1.2 m, 6.10 g/t Au over 4.1 m, and 2.90 g/t Au over 5.5 m.
- Holes 079 and 080 confirmed a fourth Cu-Au breccia pipe within a 1 km² area; Hole 080 spanned 68.5 m averaging 0.16% Cu and 0.16 g/t Au.
- Investors may be watching for assay results from recent boulder prospecting and geological mapping along the Blue Sky gold trend, which the company states will be presented in a separate release.
Hole 081 Thunder North Results: Multiple Gold Intervals Across a 52-Metre Span
Hole 081 was drilled on the eastern portion of the Thunder North Zone as a replacement for Hole 073 from the December 2025 program, which had been halted short of the gold zone. The release states that five significant gold intersections were returned, with three deeper intervals beginning at 198.8, 213.3 and 246.0 m down-hole averaging 26.1 g/t Au over 1.2 m, 1.40 g/t Au over 12.5 m, and 6.10 g/t Au over 4.1 m respectively. Two shallower intersections averaged 2.90 g/t Au over 5.5 m and 1.38 g/t Au over 12.2 m. The company notes the gold distribution pattern may reflect folding or fault repetition of a single zone.
Fourth Cu-Au Breccia Pipe Identified at Blue Sky, Strengthening Porphyry Deposit Hypothesis
Holes 079 and 080, drilled 50 and 100 metres southwest of previous holes along the Blue Sky gold trend, each intersected a pre-orogenic Cu-Au breccia pipe. Hole 079 returned an 18-metre intersection averaging 0.10% Cu and 0.20 g/t Au, while Hole 080 spanned 68.5 metres averaging 0.16% Cu and 0.16 g/t Au, with copper-gold grades increasing down-hole. The discovery of four such pipes within a 1 km² area leads the company to suggest the former presence of a large hydrothermal reservoir and the possible existence of a preserved porphyry Cu-Au deposit approximately 1 km below current drill holes.
Drilling Program Context and Assay Delays at Rabbit North
The June drilling program comprised eight holes totalling 2,303.5 m targeting extensions of the Thunder, Thunder North and Blue Sky zones. The company states that assay results from the final holes were delayed because less than half of the core in three holes had been cut due to the unavailability of experienced core cutters, with the remaining core cut in late September. Results from the first three holes were released on August 13, 2026, and from Holes 077 and 078 on October 15, 2026. All samples were analyzed by Activation Laboratories in Kamloops, an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited facility.
Near-Surface Gold Exploration Remains Tower's Immediate Priority
Despite the porphyry copper-gold potential identified at depth, Tower states its immediate focus remains on expanding and demonstrating the economic potential of its near-surface gold discoveries. The company recently completed an archaeological survey that reduced previously restricted drilling areas by approximately 95%, a drone LIDAR survey expected to reveal structural lineaments associated with gold mineralisation, and geological mapping along the eastern projection of the Blue Sky trend. The technical content of the release was reviewed and approved by Stuart Averill, P.Geo., a director of the company and a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101. The immediate share price impact was not clear from available public information.
