Life & Banc Split Corp. Class A shares (TSX:LBS) are the Capital shares of a split-share fund that targets a monthly cash distribution of C$0.10 per share. Brompton Funds' product page shows a Market Price of C$12.87 on 30 October 2026 and a Class A net asset value of C$14.67 on 29 October 2026.

The distribution is not fixed by contract. It is a target that depends on portfolio income, option premiums and the fund's coverage tests, and a share split announced on 29 October changes the share count again.

Latest payout and dates

Brompton's product page lists a C$0.10 monthly Class A distribution for every month from November 2025 to October 2026, a total of C$1.20. The most recent entry has a Record Date of 30 October 2026 and a payment date of 9 November 2026. The September distribution was record 30 September and paid 8 October, according to Brompton's 23 September release.

Brompton's pages give record and payment dates but not ex-dates.

Yield measures

Over the lookback of ex-dates from 31 October 2025 to 30 October 2026, the twelve listed monthly payments sum to C$1.20. Against C$12.87 that gives a trailing regular Yield of 9.32 per cent, matching the yield shown on the manager's page. A distribution declared for October 2025 may sit on the boundary of the window and is not shown in the table, so the sum is treated as twelve payments rather than thirteen.

The indicated annualised figure is the same arithmetic: C$0.10 multiplied by twelve, or C$1.20, which is also 9.32 per cent at that price. It is a run rate based on a target, not a guarantee.

Share splits and the share count

On 29 October 2026 the fund announced twelve additional Class A shares for every 100 held, with a record date of 11 November, an effective date of 12 November and ex-split trading from 11 November. It said the monthly target stays at C$0.10 per share, so total cash paid to Class A holders is expected to rise by about 12 per cent. The split is subject to Toronto Stock Exchange approval.

Coverage tests and term

Brompton's footnote says no Class A distribution is paid if preferred distributions are in arrears or if, after the payment, net asset value per unit would fall below C$15.00. Unit NAV was C$24.73 on 29 October 2026, comfortably above that line, although Class A NAV alone is lower than C$15.00 and the test is applied per unit. Preferred Shares mature on 30 October 2028, extendable by up to five years at the board's discretion, so the payout horizon depends on that decision.

The shares trade at a discount of about 12 per cent to Class A NAV.
