1.0 Exit Case: Eldorado Gold Corporation 

Overview:

Eldorado Gold Corporation (TSX: ELD) is a gold and base metals producer with mining, development and exploration operations in Turkey, Canada, Greece and Romania. It has a portfolio of high-quality assets and long-term partnerships with local communities. Some of its projects include Kisladag, Efemcukuru, Skouries; Perama Hill and Certej projects.

ELD has been a part of the ‘Value Portfolio’ since 15th May 2025, however, considering the recent rally in share price, and ~15.52% upside from the entry price, an ‘Exit’ is recommended from the stock at the price of CAD 28.88, (as on 16 June 2025).

2.0 New Entry Case: Algoma Steel Group Inc. (TSX: ASTL)

Overview:  

Algoma Steel Group Inc. (TSX: ASTL) is a Canadian company that produces clean and consistent light gauge steel in North America, offering a range of hot and cold rolled steel sheet and plate products. The firm operates in a single segment of basic steel production. Geographically it serves Canada, the United States and the rest of the world, whilst driving key revenue from domestic sales. Substantial revenue is generated from the sale of Steel sheets and strips.

Technical Analysis: On the daily chart, ASTL prices are trading on the positive note, above its support level. The 14-period Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at approximately 64.86, reflecting a positive buying momentum. The key support for stock is at CAD 7.65, while the critical resistance level is at CAD 10.65.

Considering the above mentioned factors, technical analysis, support & resistance levels, an ‘Entry’ is recommended in the ‘Value Portfolio’ at the closing market price of CAD 8.89, as on (as on 16 June 2025). 

Algoma Steel Group Inc. (TSX: ASTL) has been identified as the new entry to our Value Portfolio.
