Dynasty Gold Corp. (TSXV: DYG) has reported a new gold discovery in the footwall of its Pelham deposit at the Thundercloud project in northwest Ontario, with drill hole DP26-07 intersecting 7.5 metres grading 3.65 g/t gold. The intercept extends known mineralisation approximately 100 metres below the previously established Pelham zone, pushing the drillhole depth to 323 metres. The result, confirmed by five consecutive 1.5-metre samples, signals potential for high-grade resource expansion at a 100%-owned project already benefiting from strong regional infrastructure.

Key Points

  • Dynasty Gold Corp. (TSXV: DYG | FSE: D5G1 | OTC Pink: DGDCF)
  • Drill hole DP26-07 at Thundercloud's Pelham deposit returned 7.5m at 3.65 g/t Au, with the highest sample assaying 6.26 g/t Au, found at 323m depth
  • New mineralisation sits roughly 100m below the Pelham zone; the company reports over $2 million in treasury and plans an additional 1,000–1,500 metres of step-out drilling, subject to conditions
  • Investors may be watching for pending assay results from holes DP26-06 and holes 8 through 14, expected in the coming weeks

DP26-07 Pushes Pelham Gold System to 323 Metres Depth

Hole DP26-07, the deepest hole drilled at Pelham to date, intersected a stack of three mineralised lenses beginning at 151m, 213m, and 279m, with the most significant intercept occurring between 315.5 and 323.0 metres. Five consecutive 1.5-metre samples in that interval returned grades up to 6.26 g/t Au. The mineralisation was hosted in pyritic, fine-grained chloritic and calcite-veined metabasalts. The company stated the deposit remains open along strike and at depth, and the down-dip and down-plunge extensions have not yet been tested at further depths.

South-Pelham Zone Adds Further Exploration Upside at Thundercloud

Drilling in the South-Pelham target area intersected three bands of mineralisation in hole DP26-04, beginning at depths of 8m, 80m, and 174m. Hole DP26-05 intersected gold mineralisation six metres from surface. The South-Pelham area hosts a 700-metre-long trend of gold-in-soil geochemical anomalies coincident with magnetic and IP anomalies. The company stated additional drilling will be required to determine the geometry and potential of these zones, noting that near-surface mineralisation discovered to date is relatively widespread. Core recovery is reported at close to 100%; true widths of mineralisation are not yet known.

Treasury Position and Planned Step-Out Drilling at the Pelham Footwall

CEO and President Ivy Chong stated in the release that Dynasty remains well-capitalised with over $2 million in the treasury following completion of this year's drilling commitment. Subject to a number of conditions, the company has planned an additional 1,000 to 1,500 metres of drilling across three or four step-out holes designed to further extend the down-plunge mineralisation intersected by DP26-07. The Thundercloud project covers a 36-square-kilometre land package located 47 kilometres southeast of Dryden, Ontario, with access to the Trans-Canada Highway, rail, and nearby power.
