GFG Resources Inc. (TSXV: GFG | OTCQB: GFGSF) has released a comprehensive exploration update on its 100%-owned Goldarm Property in Ontario's Timmins Gold District, highlighting a large-scale gold-in-till anomaly at the Hawker target and an expanded 4,000-metre drill program at its Aljo gold system. Results from an 82-hole sonic overburden drilling program have strengthened the company's regional targeting model and identified multiple priority areas across the approximately 263 km² property. Investors may be watching closely as Hawker, Nahanni, and Aljo each represent distinct value drivers within a portfolio also backed by Barrick-funded exploration at the Pen Gold Project.

Key Points

  • GFG Resources Inc. (TSXV: GFG | OTCQB: GFGSF) released a 2026 exploration update on its Goldarm Property in the Timmins Gold District
  • Hawker target has returned a approximately 2.5 km gold-in-till anomaly; sonic hole GLM-R-073 returned 375 total gold grains over a 16.3 m till interval
  • Nahanni first-pass drilling confirmed gold at all three target areas along a 6 km corridor, with a peak result of 11.20 g/t Au over 0.7 m; Aljo HW Zone extended to approximately 300 m vertical depth
  • Investors may watch for initial diamond drilling at Hawker and Nahanni follow-up targeted for Q1 2027, and the 4,000 m Aljo drill program commencing Q4 2026

Hawker Emerges as High-Priority Undrilled Target at Goldarm

The Hawker target, located approximately 6 km north of Nahanni, has rapidly advanced into one of GFG's most compelling regional discovery opportunities. Sonic drilling has defined a broad gold-in-till and bedrock anomaly across an approximately 2.5 km trend within a prospective package of mafic to felsic volcanic rocks adjacent to regional high-strain corridors. The strongest result came from hole GLM-R-073, which returned 375 total gold grains over a 16.3 m till interval extending to bedrock at 39.6 m — the northernmost hole in GFG's entire 82-hole sonic program. The anomaly is supported by an Au-Ag-Te-S geochemical association, and the target remains open toward the interpreted up-ice source. Infill biogeochemical sampling and targeted reverse circulation till drilling are planned ahead of initial diamond drilling in Q1 2027.

Nahanni Corridor Continues to Expand Beyond First-Pass Diamond Drilling

Nahanni represents GFG's most advanced regional discovery. Earlier in 2026, ten diamond drill holes totalling approximately 3,000 m confirmed gold mineralisation at all three target areas — Nahanni West, Central, and East — along an approximately 6 km segment of the Pipestone Deformation Zone. The peak intersection was 11.20 g/t Au over 0.7 m within 1.97 g/t Au over 6.2 m at Nahanni East. Subsequent sonic drilling along approximately 4 km of the trend has identified widespread gold-in-till anomalism, with several strong anomalies remaining untested by diamond drilling. GFG is prioritising follow-up work at Nahanni Central and East, alongside first-pass testing of newly generated targets, with activity planned for Q1 2027.

Aljo HW Zone Grows to 300 Metres Vertical Depth with 4,000 m Expansion Planned

At Aljo, the Hangingwall Zone continues to grow in scale and continuity. The latest drill hole, ALJ-26-039, extended the zone to approximately 300 m vertical depth, returning 0.43 g/t Au over 36.9 m, including 1.58 g/t Au over 1.5 m. Visible gold was observed in both ALJ-26-039 and ALJ-26-041, with the latter returning 0.90 g/t Au over 7.7 m at the shallow HW East extension. A 4,000 m drill program commencing in Q4 2026 will target further depth extension and the eastern and northwestern extensions of the broader Aljo system. Meanwhile, Barrick continues to fund exploration at the approximately 475 km² Pen Gold Project, where it may earn an initial 60% interest by funding up to C$17.68 million in expenditures.
