Ecuador's Svetlana Plant Advances Toward Q4 2026 Ore Introduction
The 1,500-tonne-per-day Svetlana plant refurbishment continues to progress as planned, with the crushing circuit 85% complete and the ball mill restoration fully finished. Pre-commissioning activities are scheduled for October, beginning with the main processing area. Dynacor has sourced 500 tonnes of waste rock for initial commissioning use, and the ball mill has already undergone no-load testing. The company has also signed a grid connection agreement with CNEL EP for 6 MW of primarily hydroelectric power. MAE environmental ministry approval remains outstanding and is expected in Q4 2026.
Senegal Ramp-Up Begins as First Gold Pour Is Prepared
Dynacor's Senegal facility has completed all commissioning activities and entered the production ramp-up phase. The company states that additional ore stockpiles have been secured from new suppliers, and preparations for the first gold pour are in place. Staffing of initial plant operator and other internal roles is underway. The release does not specify a precise date for the first pour, describing the facility as a 50-tonne-per-day operation. The Senegal milestone represents Dynacor's initial West African production presence, which management characterised as a significant value-creation opportunity.
Peru Ore Inventory Reduction Accelerates Through Year-End
At its established Veta Dorada operation in Peru, Dynacor reports that ore inventory destocking efforts are continuing. The company expects stockpiles to reach approximately 75% of their historical average level by the end of the current quarter. Management indicated that the reduction pace is accelerating, framing the Peruvian operation as a contributor to a strong year-end finish alongside the two expansion projects. No revised production guidance or financial targets for the Peruvian site were provided in the announcement beyond the inventory reduction objective.
