Metals Creek Resources Corp. (TSXV: MEK) has signed a drilling contract for additional exploration at its Ogden Gold Project located 6 km south of Timmins, Ontario. The program targets four diamond drill holes within the Thomas Ogden Zone fold structure, following a previous hole that returned the second-highest grade intercept in the project's history. Mobilisation of the drill is expected to commence in approximately two weeks, keeping investor attention firmly on this 50/50 joint venture with Discovery Mining Ltd.

Key Points

  • Metals Creek Resources Corp. (TSXV: MEK | OTC Pink: MCREF | FSE: M1C1)
  • Drilling contract signed for four diamond drill holes at the Ogden Gold Project, Timmins, Ontario
  • Previous hole TOG-26-76 returned 115.51 g/t Au over 9.85m, including 2,050 g/t Au over 0.50m
  • Investors will be watching drill results as the program follows up on visible gold reported in all three holes of the prior program

Four-Hole Program Targets Ogden's Thomas Ogden Zone Fold Structure

The upcoming drill program comprises four diamond drill holes designed to test portions of the Thomas Ogden Zone (TOG) fold structure, which exhibits a shallow easterly plunge, as well as near-surface areas of TOG that remain untested. The TOG zone hosts gold-bearing, flat-lying secondary structures within strongly altered conglomerates and felsites containing pyrite. High-grade gold mineralisation within TOG is closely associated with the fold axis. The company noted that mobilisation of the drill rig is expected within approximately two weeks of the October 8, 2026 announcement.

Previous TOG-26-76 Hole Delivered Second-Highest Grade Intercept on Record

Results from the most recent drilling campaign underpin the rationale for this follow-up program. Hole TOG-26-76 returned a downhole intercept of 115.51 g/t Au over 9.85 metres, including a sub-interval of 356.85 g/t Au over 3.10 metres and a notable 0.50-metre interval grading 2,050 g/t Au, with visible gold observed in core. The release notes this ranks as the second-highest grade intercept on the Ogden Project to date, behind hole TOG-13-25, which returned 210.19 g/t Au over 12.53 metres and is situated 325 metres west along the TOG fold structure. True widths of mineralisation have not yet been determined.
