Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. (TSXV: PEX) has announced completion of its 2026 exploration programs at both its 100%-owned Kliyul and RDP copper-gold projects in British Columbia. At RDP's Day target, drilling confirmed continuous copper-sulphide mineralisation over lengths greater than 300 metres from vertical depths of approximately 170 metres. At Kliyul, first-pass drilling at the previously untested M39 target intersected porphyry-style alteration comparable to zones peripheral to the established Kliyul Main Zone resource, a result investors may watch closely as assay results remain pending.

Key Points

  • Pacific Ridge Exploration Ltd. (TSXV: PEX | OTCQB: PEXZF | FSE: PQW)
  • Five drill holes totalling 3,010 m completed at RDP's Day target; four holes totalling 1,524 m completed at Kliyul's M39 target
  • Three RDP holes confirmed continuous copper-sulphide mineralisation over lengths greater than 300 m; M39 alteration closely resembles peripheral Kliyul Main Zone characteristics
  • Assay results from both programs have not yet been reported; investors are watching for those results as they become available

RDP Day Target Drilling Expands Western Magnetic Lobe and Refines Porphyry Understanding

At the Day target within the RDP project, drill holes RDP-26-016, RDP-26-017, and RDP-26-019 confirmed continuous copper-sulphide mineralisation — chalcopyrite with or without bornite — from vertical depths of approximately 170 metres over lengths greater than 300 metres. Two additional holes tested the interpreted porphyry centre and encountered predominantly pyrite mineralisation and porphyry-halo alteration, indicating the porphyry centre concept was not confirmed in that area, though the results provide geological constraints for future targeting. The company also noted that mineralisation in the western magnetic lobe is not directly correlated with airborne magnetic vector inversion highs, broadening the exploration search space at Day.

First-Pass Drilling at Kliyul's M39 Target Returns Encouraging Porphyry Alteration Signatures

All four diamond drill holes at Kliyul's M39 target — a one-kilometre copper and gold soil anomaly that had never previously been drill tested — intersected porphyry-style alteration, veining, and porphyritic dioritic intrusions. The release states that alteration and vein assemblages at M39 are comparable to those documented in drill holes peripheral to the Kliyul Main Zone resource, including hole KLI-22-048A situated approximately 250 metres laterally from the KMZ resource. The company said these similarities suggest M39 may have intersected the peripheral alteration footprint of a porphyry copper-gold system, supporting potential for nearby mineralisation.

Kliyul Main Zone Hosts a 334-Million-Tonne Inferred Resource Underpinning Project Scale

The Kliyul Main Zone hosts an inferred mineral resource of 334.1 million tonnes grading 0.33% copper equivalent at a 0.20% CuEq cut-off, comprising 0.15% copper, 0.26 g/t gold, and 0.95 g/t silver, with an effective date of July 31, 2025. The resource remains open for expansion, and multiple untested targets exist along a six-kilometre porphyry copper-gold trend. Kliyul is located approximately eight kilometres from the Omineca resource road and a 230-kilovolt power line, which the company highlights as favourable existing infrastructure. Mineral resources are not mineral reserves and have no demonstrated economic viability.
