Roxmore Resources Inc. (TSX: RM) (OTCQX: GARLF) has announced gold and silver assay results from its flagship Converse Gold Project on Nevada's Battle Mountain–Eureka Trend, with exploration hole CV26-013C returning 58.2 metres grading 1.85 g/t Au and 4.43 g/t Ag, including a higher-grade interval of 19.8 metres grading 4.83 g/t Au and 9.94 g/t Ag. The result, drilled 90 metres from the current mineral resource boundary, suggests the Redline mineralising system may extend into a largely untested western corridor. Investors may be watching closely given the potential implications for resource expansion at one of Nevada's largest undeveloped gold deposits not held by a major mining company.
Key Points
- Roxmore Resources Inc. (TSX: RM) (OTCQX: GARLF) operates the Converse Gold Project in Nevada
- Exploration hole CV26-013C returned 58.2m at 1.85 g/t Au and 4.43 g/t Ag, including 19.8m at 4.83 g/t Au
- The hole stepped out 90 metres from the current resource, targeting an emerging higher-grade trend along the Redline system's western margin
- Investors should watch for completion of 22 pending silver assay samples and results from ongoing re-assaying of historic pulps
CV26-013C Drill Results Strengthen Western Extension Interpretation at Redline
Hole CV26-013C, the first dedicated exploration hole of the current infill and extension drill campaign, was drilled along the western margin of the Converse resource and along the northern boundary of a northwest-southeast-trending magnetic low corridor. The company disclosed that the hole intersected Breccia Pipe 02 below alluvial cover, interpreted as a fault-displaced upper portion of the adjacent BP-01 breccia body. Below this, the hole entered skarn-altered Havallah Sequence sedimentary rocks exhibiting moderate to locally significant chalcopyrite mineralisation. The release notes that 22 silver assay samples from CV26-013C remain pending, including one within the reported composite interval.
Aeromagnetic Reinversion Reveals Approximately 3 km Untested Structural Corridor
Roxmore recently completed a 3D inversion of historical aeromagnetic data originally collected in 1995, generating a magnetic susceptibility model that spatially associates both Redline North and Redline South with magnetic susceptibility lows. The company states that a prominent approximately 3-kilometre-long northwest-southeast-trending magnetic low extends approximately 2 kilometres west of the currently defined Redline mineralisation into an area that has seen little to no historical exploration. The release suggests this corridor coincides with a major structural pathway believed central to development of the Redline skarn system, identifying it as a compelling exploration target with potential to significantly expand the deposit's mineralised footprint.
Historical and Recent Intercepts Reinforce the Western Margin's Resource Potential
The announcement highlights that nearly half of all mineralised composites grading at or above 1.0 g/t Au across the Redline deposit occur within the western area, primarily in BP-01 and adjacent structural fluid pathways. Notable results cited include CV26-009C, which intersected 110.9 metres grading 1.31 g/t Au and 2.84 g/t Ag, and historic hole CONV-030C drilled by International Minerals Corp. in 2012, which intersected 100.6 metres grading 1.13 g/t Au and 1.92 g/t Ag including visible gold. The company states that re-assaying of historic pulps for silver is currently underway to assist in vectoring toward potential causative intrusions.
