Tajiri Resources Corp. (TSXV: TAJ), a junior gold exploration company operating in Guyana's greenstone belts, announced it has completed 3D induced polarisation (IP) survey coverage across the entirety of its Yono Gold Property on 100-metre line spacings. Preliminary pseudo-sections are showing encouraging chargeability responses near trench clusters that previously returned results including 2m at 41.3 g/t gold. The company is extending the survey by approximately two weeks to complete 50-metre in-fill lines and will separately correct a warrant expiry date following an administrative error. Investors in junior gold exploration may find both developments worth monitoring closely.

Key Points

  • Tajiri Resources Corp. (TSXV: TAJ) is a junior gold explorer with assets in Guyana, South America
  • 3D IP survey coverage over the Yono Gold Property is complete; preliminary results are encouraging but 3D inversions remain pending
  • Survey extended by approximately two weeks for 50-metre in-fill lines targeting potential ore shoots near high-grade trench results
  • 5,506,072 warrants extended to September 19, 2027 to correct an administrative certificate error; TSX Venture Exchange approval remains pending

Yono Gold Property IP Survey Delivers Encouraging Preliminary Chargeability Responses

Tajiri completed 3D IP survey coverage over the full extent of the Yono Gold Property in Guyana's Cuyuni-Mazaruni Mining District, a region recognised for substantial gold potential. Preliminary pseudo-sections indicate highly encouraging chargeability responses, though the company notes that 3D inversions have not yet been finalised. Responses appear associated with the northernmost trench cluster — trenches YTR-3, 3R, 16, 17, and 18 — which previously returned results of 32m at 1.1 g/t and 4m at 5.5 g/t, among others. A second zone near trench YTR-4, approximately 400 metres to the south, returned 19m at 4.6 g/t, including a notable 2m interval grading 41.3 g/t gold.

50-Metre In-Fill Lines to Refine Ore Shoot Targets Before Final Interpretation

Based on preliminary findings, Tajiri is extending the IP survey by approximately two weeks to complete additional 50-metre in-fill lines. The objective is to resolve potential ore shoots associated with strong gold-in-soil anomalies and the company's best previously released trench results. Full results will only be disclosed following the survey extension, completion of 3D data inversion, and final geological interpretation. The Yono Gold Project sits adjacent to the planned open pit of G Mining Ventures' Oko Mine Development Project, a positioning the company considers strategically significant for its exploration program in the Guiana Shield.

Warrant Expiry Extended to September 2027 Following Certificate Error Discovery

Tajiri also disclosed it will extend the expiry of 5,506,072 common share purchase warrants by twelve months to September 19, 2027, subject to final TSX Venture Exchange approval. The warrants were originally issued under a non-brokered private placement completed in September 2025 with an intended one-year term. During the company's annual audit, management discovered an administrative error had caused certain warrant certificates to carry an incorrect expiry date. To provide certainty to all affected warrant holders, the company extended the expiry of all unexercised warrants from the placement. All other terms remain unchanged, the release states.
