Highlights
- Initial exploration program concluded at the Harrier Project in Labrador’s Central Mineral Belt.
- Two new uranium showings identified; Snegamook prioritized for NI 43-101 update.
- Multiple drill-ready targets progressing toward 2026 diamond drilling program.
Azincourt Energy Corp. (TSXV:AAZ) Azincourt Energy has finished its first exploration program on the Harrier Uranium Project in Labrador, spanning 49,400 hectares across five separate licence areas. The project lies next to Paladin Energy’s Michelin deposit and Atha Energy’s Moran Lake Project.
The property includes more than a dozen known uranium zones, with rock samples up to 7.48% U3O8 and ten zones exceeding 1% U3O8. Historical drilling has been limited to 124 drill holes, indicating significant discovery potential.
2025 Work Program
The program involved helicopter-supported reconnaissance and prospecting led by VP of Exploration Trevor Perkins. Eleven pre-identified showings and the Snegamook deposit were surveyed, with two new uranium showings identified at Boiteau Lake and near Anomaly 7.
Snegamook Deposit
Snegamook is a key target, with previous drilling intersecting 20–50 m wide uranium zones. Azincourt plans to update the deposit to an NI 43-101 compliant resource in the 2026 field program.
Pipeline of Targets
Other areas being prepared for drilling in 2026 include Moran Heights, Boiteau Lake, and Anomaly 7, which contain multiple uranium zones with assays ranging from 0.24% to 7.48% U3O8.
Central Mineral Belt Context
The Central Mineral Belt (CMB) ranks among Canada’s most promising uranium areas, featuring both high-grade finds and sizable deposits. Growing attention is driven by rising demand for domestic uranium and the expansion of nuclear energy.
Company Overview
Azincourt Energy is focused on acquiring, exploring, and developing uranium, lithium, and other critical clean energy elements, with active projects in the Athabasca Basin and Labrador’s CMB.
