Nuclear Vision Limited (CSE:NUKV) announced the renewal of five key prospecting licenses by the Botswana Ministry of Minerals and Energy, extending their tenure through 2027. The licenses form the foundation of the company’s uranium exploration efforts in the Karoo basin, a geologically prospective region in central Botswana. These renewals represent a continuation of the company’s permitted tenure in the region and affirm Botswana’s stated commitment to responsible mineral development. Nuclear Vision also holds two additional licenses in the country that were not part of the current renewal cycle.

With the renewed licenses in place, Nuclear Vision stated it will move forward with advanced exploration plans, including geological modelling, geophysical surveys, and targeted drilling. These activities are aimed at better defining uranium potential across the company’s 4,828 square kilometer UA92 project area. According to Chief Executive Officer Derrick Dao, the license extensions provide a stable foundation for sustained exploration work and reflect the investor-friendly nature of Botswana’s mining framework. The company attributed the timely renewal process to the efforts of its internal mining and compliance teams.

In addition to its holdings in Botswana, Nuclear Vision also controls the Regnault Project in Québec, Canada. Both assets are at early stages of exploration, with planned campaigns intended to evaluate their mineral potential and advance technical understanding. No financial terms were disclosed, and the company has not yet reported resource estimates for its Botswana uranium licenses.
