Sparq Systems Inc. (TSXV:SPRQ) announced the creation of an artificial intelligence-powered grid power control device intended for use in residential, commercial, and industrial solar energy installations. 

The GPC device is designed to maintain efficient coordination between solar power generation, energy consumption, and grid supply. It can operate under multiple user-defined settings — including zero-power-export, static-power-export, and dynamic energy trading modes — to accommodate varying energy management needs. 

Technical Capabilities and Applications 

Sparq’s new GPC device is compatible with both single-phase and three-phase power systems, including balanced and unbalanced configurations, positioning it as a flexible control option across different solar environments. 

The system utilizes wireless communication between its components, removing the need for complex wiring and minimizing installation challenges. This wireless integration supports simplified deployment for a broad range of customers managing distributed solar energy systems.
