Revenue Grows as the Quarterly Deficit Shrinks
electroCore (NASDAQ:ECOR) submitted its Quarterly Report on November 4, 2026. The Business markets noninvasive vagus nerve stimulators, notably prescription gammaCore for primary headache and Quell Fibromyalgia, in addition to wellness items. Net sales were up USD 1.0 million, and Gross Profit hit USD 8.6 million. Operating costs came down to USD 10.1 million, including USD 0.4 million of R&D and USD 9.7 million of SG&A. The operating loss narrowed to USD 1.6 million from USD 2.9 million. A roughly USD 0.4 million settlement gain from indemnification claims supported other income, while interest expense went from USD 0.2 million to USD 0.4 million. Acquired Quell products, bought in May 2025, helped push nine-month sales 26% higher to USD 28.7 million.
Veterans Affairs Reliance and the Shift to Lovell
Most Revenue for 2026 is expected to keep flowing from prescription orders placed by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Beginning August 2026, all prescription sales to the Veterans Affairs and Defense Department have run through a distribution pact with Lovell Government Services, a veteran-owned company that holds federal procurement contracts. The two biggest revenue sources remain that department and the U.K. National Health Service, which makes any slowdown in one channel or client a material exposure. Nine-month net loss totaled USD 9.7 million, or USD 1.02 per share, compared with USD 10.9 million, or USD 1.31. Operating cash outflow rose to USD 9.4 million, a change the filing ascribes to heavier inventory and payment timing.
Financing, Avenue Loan Repayments and the Going-Concern Wording
Nine-month financing inflows reached USD 5.3 million, of which USD 4.0 million came from net at-the-market share issuance, a gradual selling method that can dilute holders. Repayments on the Avenue loan begin in September 2027, at USD 1.25 million in 2027, USD 3.75 million in 2028 and USD 2.92 million in 2029, including a final payment fee. Cash and securities decreased USD 4.1 million (calculated) since year end, with USD 3.4 million from securities sales. The financial statements do not reflect any adjustment tied to the going-concern uncertainty. Given the small cash position, a handful of trades can move the stock, spreads may be wide and quoted prices can reverse.
Where Things Stand
Growth has not yet outpaced cash burn. electroCore (NASDAQ:ECOR) raised quarterly sales 12% and cut its loss to USD 1.3 million, but the USD 7.5 million cash position falls short of what its plan needs for the next 12 months, per the filing. Possible sources include the at-the-market Facility and other Equity or Debt deals, and the company says it could scale back activity if financing comes up short. Watch fourth-quarter sales through the Lovell channel, cash consumption and any new financing.
