Core Silver Corp. (CSE:CC) has unveiled the first visuals from deep exploratory drilling at its Laverdiere Copper Project in British Columbia’s Atlin Mining District. The release focuses on drill hole LAV25-010, the earliest of four deep diamond drill holes completed during the 2025 season. The hole was designed to examine the depth potential of a large, multi-phase porphyry copper-molybdenum-silver system that spans nearly 40 square kilometres.
LAV25-010 was drilled to a final depth of 703 metres and intersected mineralization consistently from surface to beyond 675 metres. The visuals confirm a wide range of porphyry-style features, including quartz-vein hosted molybdenite, chalcopyrite, silver-bearing sulfosalts, and specular hematite breccias. These features collectively support Core Silver’s interpretation that Laverdiere hosts a laterally extensive and vertically layered porphyry system that may align with other large systems across the Stikine Terrane.
Notably, the hole was collared 1.8 kilometres southwest of previous drilling at the North Adit, confirming continuity between zones. The Company now has evidence of porphyry-style Cu-Mo-Ag±Au mineralization traced over 4.5 kilometres of strike through multiple structural splays.

Near surface, oxidation and epithermal vein patterns dominate, containing molybdenite, chalcopyrite, pyrite, and silver-bearing minerals. At deeper intervals, copper and molybdenum mineralization becomes increasingly coarse and more frequent, hosted in thicker porphyry vein sets.
Specular hematite breccias evolve into molybdenite-rich and biotite-tourmaline phases, indicating a shift from oxidized to reduced hydrothermal conditions. Such transitions are characteristic of high-potential porphyry copper systems and suggest that LAV25-010 intersected the upper and marginal zones of a sizeable mineral center.
Building on Historical and Modern Exploration Momentum
The Laverdiere Copper Project has a long but intermittent history dating back to the early 1900s, yet modern exploration has only recently revealed its full potential. Previous shallow drilling and early adit work returned encouraging copper grades, and Core Silver’s 2022 program delivered broad intercepts including 48.5 metres of 0.90% Cu and 223 metres of 0.11% Cu.
The 2025 drill campaign expanded on this foundation with seven drill holes totaling 3,857 metres. With visuals now shared and assays pending, Core Silver is positioning Laverdiere as one of the most compelling new porphyry opportunities in northern British Columbia.
