Electrum Discovery Corp. (TSX-V:ELY | FRA:R8N | OTC:ELDCF) has reported results from its Q1 2025 exploration activities at the Timok East copper-gold project, located in eastern Serbia. These results include the completion of the maiden Phase 1 diamond drill program at the Bambino Central copper-gold anomaly target, a key area within the company’s 100%-owned project.

During Phase 1 drilling, the company encountered skarn and hydrothermal alteration typical of the distal zones of a fertile hydrothermal system. The presence of skarn, in combination with the results of Audio-Magnetotelluric (AMT) surveys indicating a deep conductive anomaly, supports the potential for discovering a deeper mineralized system in the area. This finding is significant for the long-term exploration potential at Timok East.

To further enhance its understanding of the geological environment, Electrum plans additional AMT surveys, geochemical sampling, and petrology studies in the coming months. These activities aim to refine exploration targets across the broader Bambino area and provide valuable data to guide future exploration efforts.

Furthermore, the company is leveraging insights from the 2025 BHP Xplor Accelerator Program, where it is implementing a dual exploration strategy. This includes both a traditional prospect-scale exploration program and a more advanced belt-scale, mineral systems-driven approach to identify regional exploration targets. Electrum has outlined several targets through geophysical and geological data compilation, which will support the broader regional exploration strategy.

Dr. Elena Clarici, CEO and President of Electrum, emphasized that the geological evidence obtained from the drilling at Bambino confirms the presence of a metal-fertile hydrothermal system, which is key for future exploration. The company's exploration strategy is designed to maximize the chances of discovery at Timok East, building on the insights and technologies gained through the BHP Xplor Accelerator Program.
