Highlights

  • Diamond drilling at Chanach reveals multiple copper and gold intercepts.
  • New results expand the potential oxide copper area and identify untested gold veins.
  • The 2025 drilling campaign included 4,300m of drilling across 13 completed holes.

RTG Mining Inc. (TSX:RTG) released the results from its 2025 diamond drilling program at the Chanach Project, situated in the Kyrgyz Republic. The field program involved 4,300m of drilling outside the current gold resource, targeting a 1.8km diameter IP anomaly along with magnetic and skarn structures. Logging and assaying for all 13 planned holes are now complete.

Notable interceptions from this campaign include:

  • 9m @ 0.67% Cu from 9.6m
  • 4m @ 15.3g/t Au from 754.4m
  • 7m @ 12.47g/t Au from 174m
  • 8m @ 11.65g/t Au from 41m

The Chanach project currently hosts a JORC-compliant inferred mineral resource of 2.95 Mt @ 5.11 g/t Au, totaling 484,000 oz Au, and 17.23 Mt @ 0.37% Cu, equaling 64,000t Cu (141.1 Mlbs Cu), based on limited drilling so far.

Expansion of Copper Zone

Drill holes DD25-12 and DD25-13 were completed as follow-ups to DD25-01. Key intercepts from these holes include:

  • DD25-12: 21.9m @ 0.39% Cu from 52.2m, including 2.9m @ 0.62% Cu from 66m
  • DD25-13: 25.9m @ 0.49% Cu from 62.1m, including 1.0m @ 1.10% Cu from 62.1m

These results confirm the extent of the oxide copper zone, with prior channel and soil sampling indicating dimensions of up to 600m in length and 40m in width.

High-Grade Gold Veins

Drilling also targeted epithermal gold veins outside the defined resource. Hole DD25-11 returned:

  • 50m @ 10.2g/t Au from 6.55m
  • 05m @ 9.23g/t Au from 31.4m, including 2.65m @ 17.85g/t Au from 32.6m
  • 00m @ 6.43g/t Au from 51.3m

The veins remain open along strike and down dip, with multiple untested veins mapped across the project area.

CEO Statement

Justine Magee, CEO of RTG Mining, commented:
"We are very pleased to report these final assays from our 2025 field season at Chanach. Diamond drilling continues to deliver high-grade intercepts from key copper and gold prospects, demonstrating the scale and quality of this mineral field and providing valuable information that will refine our target generation for the next drilling campaign."

Planned Work

Further drilling will focus on blind magnetic targets, skarn zones, and the eastern sections of the IP anomaly. The gold resource area will also be tested further, including step-out drilling and exploration of additional quartz veins.
