Exit Case: TerraVest Industries Inc. 

Overview:

TerraVest Industries Inc. (TSX: TVK) is a manufacturer of home heating products, propane, anhydrous ammonia, natural gas liquids transport vehicles, storage vessels, energy processing equipment, and fiberglass storage tanks. The company's operating segments are Fuel Containment, Processing Equipment, and Service.

TVK has been a part of the ‘Value Portfolio’ since 28 February 2025, however, considering the recent rally, trading above resistance levels in the stock, and ~32.40% upside from the entry price, an ‘Exit’ is recommended from the stock at the price of CAD 149.76, (as on 24 March 2025).

Overview:  

Gildan Activewear Inc. (TSX: GIL) is a vertically integrated designer and manufacturer of basic apparel, including T-shirts, underwear, socks, and hosiery. Its primary market is the sale of blank T-shirts to wholesalers and printers (printwear). Gildan also sells branded clothing through retail and direct-to-consumer channels. Brands include Gildan, American Apparel, Comfort Colors, and Gold Toe.

Technical Analysis: On the daily chart, GIL prices are trading on the support levels. The 14-period Relative Strength Index (RSI) stands at approximately 29.13, reflecting oversold zone. The key support for stock is at CAD 59.00, while the critical resistance level is at CAD 69.11.

Considering the above mentioned factors, technical analysis, support & resistance levels, key risks and outlook an ‘Entry’ is recommended in the ‘Value Portfolio’ at the current market price of CAD 65.20, as on (as on 24 March 2025).

 Gildan Activewear Inc. (TSX: GIL) has been identified as the new entry to our Value Portfolio.
