It has won recognition worldwide for its known properties, including Peanuts, Caillou, Inspector Gadget, Strawberry Shortcake, and Degrassi franchise. The company licenses its content to broadcasters and streaming services at global level, securing royalties through its consumer products program.

WILD is generating revenue basis its demand for premium content and short-form content. Utilising the top-line business growth, the firm aims to raise its  position as the owner of many brands, which represent one of the world’s largest independent library of children’s content with nearly 13,000 half-hours. It boasts to host a huge digital audience on its AVOD network of kids’ videos on YouTube and other AVOD platforms.

In the second quarter of the fiscal year 2024, WILD posted a Global Licensing revenue of CAD 60.9 million, marking a 6% growth from CAD 57.4 million in the previous corresponding period.

 

However, overall revenue declined in Q2 2024 to CAD 126.2 million, against CAD 140.4 million in Q2 2023. Still, WILD clocked higher net income of CAD 12.3 million in the reporting period, as compared to a loss of CAD 3.1 million in Q2 2023.

Top 5 Shareholders:

Around 47.77% of the total shareholding is held by its top ten shareholders. While Fine Capital Partners LP is the biggest shareholder with over ­­­43.37% shareholding in the firm, PRIMECAP Management Company is the second biggest firm with approximately 2.65% stake.
