Pantoro secures funding and processing deal for Rama ore source

No doubt Cmrlec will also discuss the funding and processing partnership Pantoro has entered with privately held Mega Resources Pty Ltd, adding a new high-grade ore source to its Norseman operations and creating potential for an underground mine beneath the Rama Open Pit.

Under the agreement, Pantoro will provide up to $20 million to fund stage 2 mining at the Rama Open Pit in Western Australia’s Forrestania region. The advance will be secured against the project and repaid from gold production over a relatively short period.

The agreement gives Pantoro access to near-term, higher-grade material while securing an exclusive option to assess and potentially develop an underground extension, which could increase the mine life and value of the broader Rama project.

Pantoro reports further high-grade hits at Scotia Underground Mine

Pantoro has also recently reported further strong drilling results from the Scotia Underground Mine at its 100%-owned Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia.

Underground and surface drilling returned multiple wide, high-grade gold intersections, supporting the potential for resource growth below the current mine plan and further development opportunities across Norseman.

Extensional drilling at Central Scotia is confirming wide, high-grade mineralisation below the current indicated resource, while grade control drilling has delivered additional high-grade intersections within the existing mine plan.
