Which Companies Trimmed or Split Their Outlook Alongside Third-Quarter Results?

Five firms that released results on Nov 2, 2026 offered forward figures that were cut, narrowed or divided between rising and falling measures. Adeia (NASDAQ:ADEA) took in $80.2 million, an 8.2% decline (calculated), and now projects 2026 revenue between $375 million and $415 million. BioMarin (NASDAQ:BMRN) delivered $1,025 million in revenue, a 32% gain that set a company high, while its GAAP result was red ink of $123 million, and its full-year revenue projection dropped to between $3.80 billion and $3.90 billion.

Camping World Holdings (NYSE:CWH) posted sales of $1.58 billion, a 12.4% fall, and a loss of $320.1 million. Management also expects full-year adjusted EBITDA to come in beneath its previous band. Emergent BioSolutions (NYSE:EBS) booked $110.0 million in revenue, a 52% slump, and lowered its sales outlook while lifting its margin band. Inspire Medical Systems (NYSE:INSP) produced $206.7 million, 7.9% less than a year earlier, and tightened its 2026 goals.

Reductions vary in size. Several are modest trims, whereas Camping World Holdings offered no replacement annual figure. Inspire Medical Systems' earlier guidance is missing from the files, meaning its mixed tag depends on a narrower revenue band alongside a loss-per-share band.

Adeia: What Sits Behind the Lower Revenue Forecast?

Adeia's Top Line was $80.2 million. The year-earlier figure stood at $87.3 million, and the prior quarter reached $96.1 million. On a GAAP footing the firm netted $2.3 million, which equals $0.02 a share, while the non-GAAP per-share amount reached $0.21. Eight license deals were struck, with four involving customers that were new to the firm.

Management warned that some large, legally intricate agreements might slip past year-end, though it still aims for the upper portion of the new range. The non-GAAP expense base is pegged at a level between $176 million and $180 million, having been $184 million and $192 million earlier.

Adjusted EBITDA came in at $36.9 million, compared with $50.7 million twelve months prior.

BioMarin: Why Did a $1 Billion Quarter Coincide With a Lower Forecast?

Amicus, whose purchase closed on Apr 27, 2026, pushed BioMarin's top line to $1,025 million, a first for the company: a quarter above $1 billion. On an adjusted basis, EPS reached $0.23. The GAAP per-share loss of $0.63 stemmed from amortization tied to the deal, borrowing costs, integration work and a $287.7 million charge tied to acquired in-process R&D.

Roughly $70 million of orders from one overseas customer were delayed, with most now expected to ship between late in the fourth quarter and early 2027. Management connected the postponement to strained Cash Flow at customers, which it linked to the Middle East conflict, and stated that patient Demand was not behind it.

On the diluted EPS outlook, the range has moved from $4.90 and $5.10 down to $2.80 and $3.10. About $1.55 of the reduction relates to Alesta and roughly $0.32 to a license.

Camping World Holdings: Which Factors Deepened the Net Loss?

Camping World's loss expanded to $320.1 million, which equals $3.09 for each diluted Class A share, from $0.64 a year before. The biggest contributor was a noncash goodwill write-down of $286.7 million within its RV retail reporting unit. The company also pointed to weak demand for new RVs, price promotions, borrowing costs and fuel expenses.

Sales Volume for new vehicles retreated 25.4%, reaching 15,126 units, while the average price per vehicle advanced 11.7%. The adjusted EBITDA total of $36.0 million came in 62.4% under last year's, and adjusted loss per share amounted to $0.19.

Full-year adjusted EBITDA is now seen below the bottom of the earlier $230 million and $270 million corridor, and no other annual projection will be issued. A framework for 2027 will accompany the fourth-quarter report.

Emergent BioSolutions: Which Pieces of the Forecast Changed?

Emergent BioSolutions' revenue dropped 52% from $231.1 million to $110.0 million. The net result swung to a $32.7 million loss, against a $51.2 million profit a year prior. Naloxone sales decreased 42%, landing at $43.5 million, while smallpox countermeasures contracted 68%, reaching $26.7 million, owing to order timing.

Its 2026 revenue expectation now spans $600 million to $645 million, versus an earlier $645 million and $675 million. Adjusted EBITDA guidance sits between $110 million and $140 million, previously $130 million and $150 million. Meanwhile the adjusted gross margin outlook improved, now at 45% and 47%, compared with 42% and 44%.

The company retired $75 million of unsecured notes at a $68 million cost and purchased 2.0 million shares worth $18.1 million. The chief financial officer steps down effective Dec 31, 2026.

Inspire Medical Systems: How Should a Narrowed Range Be Read After a Billing Setback?

Revenue for the quarter was $206.7 million, below the $224.5 million reported twelve months earlier, although it rose roughly 3% compared with the immediately preceding quarter. Leadership assigned much of the drop to uncertainty about billing and reimbursement for its newest device, citing a $30 million effect in the third quarter and a $120 million effect for the year.

Restructuring expense totaled $24.1 million, and a legal settlement cost $7.0 million, pushing operating results to a $28.7 million loss. The net loss ended at $24.4 million, equal to $0.84 per share.

The 2026 revenue estimate is $850 million to $860 million, the diluted loss falls between $0.10 and $0.36 per share, and adjusted EPS runs from $1.20 up to $1.40. Management sees 2027 growth at a low single-digit rate. Earlier guidance is not included in the files.

Outlook Revisions Side by Side: Midpoint Moves, Revenue Shifts and Loss Totals

Net losses at four of the five total $500.2 million (calculated), and Camping World Holdings accounts for the biggest piece at $320.1 million.

Three companies publish both older and newer ranges, so their midpoints can be compared. Adeia's midpoint slid nearly 4.8%, arriving at $395 million (calculated), BioMarin's shaved roughly 1.3%, landing on $3.85 billion (calculated), and Emergent BioSolutions' fell close to 5.7%, ending at $622.5 million (calculated).

These numbers cannot be lined up directly, because each change has its own cause.
