Side-by-Side View: Growth Concentrated in One Name as Net Asset Values Retreat
Across the four companies that gave a figure, total investment income or revenue added up to roughly $192.9 million (calculated). The average change across them, taken simply, was about negative 10.0% (calculated). The Capital Southwest figure is roughly 7.7 times larger than Great Elm's (calculated), which highlights how far apart the reporting bases sit.
Against Mar 31, 2026, Capital Southwest's net asset value per share edged down about 0.3%. Measured against Dec 31, 2025 instead, New Mountain Finance fell roughly 7.4% and Great Elm Capital roughly 8.3% (both calculated), which means the reference dates do not match.
