Over the project's first decade, it is expected to produce an average of 176,000 ounces annually at a first-quartile AISC for mine-site costs. Once operational, Lynn Lake is projected to increase total consolidated production to approximately 900,000 ounces per year, while also helping to drive further cost reductions.
Q1 Financial Update
In Q1 2025, AGI's earnings from operations rose 16.3% YoY to USD 94.7 million, driven primarily by higher realized gold prices, despite increased costs of sales. Adjusted EBITDA grew 14.3% YoY to USD 145.4 million, reflecting higher core operating profitability, particularly from Island Gold and Young-Davidson, despite short-term cost inflation. Capital expenditure saw a slight increase, primarily due to Phase 3+ expansion and early-stage development at Lynn Lake and PDA. Adjusted net earnings rose 16.8% YoY, supported by a healthy core mine economics.
Recent Business Update
In April 2025, a binding agreement was announced for the sale of the option to acquire full ownership of the non-core Quartz Mountain Gold project in Oregon to Q-Gold Resources Ltd. The deal involves total consideration of up to USD 21 million, along with a 9.9% equity stake in Q-Gold. The transaction is anticipated to be completed in the second quarter of 2025.
