HEALWELL AI Inc. (TSX:AIDX), together with its subsidiary Orion Health, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Lean Business Services, a leading Saudi Arabian digital health technology provider. The collaboration aims to jointly develop and commercialize digital health and artificial intelligence solutions across the Middle East and Orion Health’s global markets. 

The agreement combines the organizations’ complementary expertise in AI innovation, clinical technologies, and healthcare interoperability. Initial efforts will target AI-powered population health management, clinical decision support applications, and integration of advanced AI tools into Saudi Arabia’s National Platform for Health and Insurance Exchange Services. 

Advancing Vision 2030 Healthcare Goals 

Lean, a Public Investment Fund-owned company, plays a central role in Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 healthcare initiatives. The company provides health data exchange, cloud infrastructure, and interoperability solutions across key national platforms such as Seha, Sehaty, and NPHIES. 

In 2023, Lean partnered with Orion Health to deliver NPHIES, recognized as the world’s largest health information exchange. The system connects healthcare providers, insurers, and regulators across the Kingdom, enabling real-time, standards-based data exchange and nationwide interoperability. 

Enabling AI Integration Across Regional Healthcare Systems 

This MoU unites HEALWELL’s AI and clinical decision support capabilities, Lean’s national leadership in digital health, and Orion Health’s global experience in interoperability. The partnership will explore opportunities to co-develop, commercialize, and deploy next-generation healthcare technologies designed to improve population health outcomes and optimize clinical workflows. 

The agreement sets out a framework for collaboration across technology development, regulatory coordination, and commercial implementation.
